Therefore, Sorting and grading Sweet potatoes is a crucial step in the potato production process. It involves separating the potatoes into different categories based on their sizes. This is usually done by an automatic Potato grading machine .

The Grading Machine adopts the roller-bar type classification method. It is driven by the rotation of two screws to move the stainless steel tubes on the classification bed parallelly forward.  They gradually increase the gap between the rollers to achieve the corresponding size of the fruits and vegetables.  Then, the fruits and vegetables fall into the fruit conveying belt from the gap between the rollers, and finally complete the classification purpose.

In a word,  the Roller type Grading Machine is suitable for different Vegetables like Potato, Sweet Potato, Garlic, Onion, Carrot, Tomato, and Fruits like Blueberry, Lychee.

Grading Design Principle

The entire Grading equipment has three multiple sections.  The first section is the grading area for materials smaller than 40mm, and materials smaller than 400mm will discharg through the first discharge belt.   Then the second section is the grading area for 40mm-60mm materials, the 40mm-60mm materials will be discharged through the second discharge belt, and so on.

The Sweet Potato Grader includes two main parts:  Roller Elevator and Roller Grading Machine.  The two parts are both Stainless Steel to protect food healthy.

Roller Elevator
